The UK's first qualified Alexander Instructor

Most people know about Bob, the softly spoken gentle painter behind TV's early morning painting series, but how many amongst us know about William (Bill) Alexander, the Happy Painter?  Bill was the man who originally taught Bob the Wet on Wet technique, that he later went on to take global.  Bill was a frustrated traditional painter, he longed to find something which would keep his enthusiasm right to the end of the painting.  So he developed firmer paints, specialist brushes and palette knives, and of course the medium by which the paint is able to slide, thus the Wet on Wet oil technique we use today was born.
